Engagement Photographer – St. Petersburg, Florida

Meet Kari and Stephen, two sweethearts getting married this fall. Stephen’s proposal to Kari was nothing short of spectacular… literally. He proposed on his birthday while the couple was visiting Disney World, one of their favorite places on earth! He proposed during the Wishes Nighttime Firework Spectacular…!! Needless to say, it was truly a magical evening. As for interests, Kari and Stephen enjoy outdoor time, their pets, traveling, going to dinner and the theater. They also love trying out new recipes together and dancing… they are pretty much rockstars at all things 😀

For Kari and Stephen’s engagement session, we began at Seminole Lake Park. The couple wanted to have two different “looks” for their photos, and this park offers a lot in the way of scenery. It has amazing live oaks with moss hanging almost to the ground – my favorite – and a huge lake. After the park, we headed over to St. Pete Beach. Kari and Stephen love the beach, so we made sure to time it right so we could get some killer sunset photos at the end of their session.

After the session, I took some time to really think about why I love being an engagement photographer. It truly is an amazing privilege. I love getting to know each and every one of my couples, and I love taking the time to hear about their interests and why they want to get married. It’s very obvious to anyone watching how much Kari and Stephen love each other.

To close, I have the pleasure of capturing Kari and Stephen’s wedding photography this coming September. Even though there may be some Florida Gator paraphernalia at their wedding (go Noles!), I am very excited to capture the day! I feel honored to be a part of this couples’ wedding journey. Enjoy, ya’ll!!
